Technical Information

Application:

Spot repair and sanded-through spots
Insulation filler under water borne paints
Bare sanded-through spots in 2K filler or in 2K old paint jobs
Putty spots sanded and cleaned roughened and cleaned factory primings roughened and cleaned factory or old paint jobs can be used on nearly all plastics. Pretreat parts with plastic adhesion promoter beforehand.

Pre-treatment:

Completely derust the damaged area, thoroughly clean, grind the surface and clean with SprayMax Silicone Remover.
Damaged area must be free of fat and dust and be dry
Shake the can well for 2 min. Perform a trial spray.
Large bare areas must be pre-primed with acid primer

Spray application:

2–3 = 30–50µm
Interim flash off time between the spray applications: 1–5min

Drying times:

Air dry drying 15 min / 20°C
IR drying possible: 3 min. (short-wave IR radiation)

Post treatment:

Wet sanding with P800 or dry grind sand down with P400–500
Can be painted over with all commercial fillers and topcoats

Yield:

Approx. 0.5m² - 1m² / spray can depending on the application thickness and substrate

Wear personal protection gear (respirator type: A2/P2 safety gloves, e.g. Latex or nitrile)
After finishing the painting process, turn the can over and spray the valve empty.
Dispose of the completely empty spray cans as recyclable material
