Technical Information

Application:

Painting new and old car wheels
New or used steel or aluminium rims
Thoroughly cleaned old paint jobs

Pre-treatment:

Sand the surface to be painted and then thoroughly clean with SprayMax Silicone Remover.
The area must be free of fat and dust and be dry.
Shake the can well for 2 min. Perform a trial spray.

Spray application:

2-3 = 30-40µm
Interim flash off time between the spray applications: 1–5min.

Drying times:

Dust dry 5 min. / 20°C
Installation-proof 30min. / 20°C
Air drying 3 h / 20°C
IR drying possible

Gloss level:

Yield:

Approx. 0.5m² - 1m² / spray can depending on the application thickness and substrate

Wear personal protection gear (respirator type: A2/P2 safety gloves, e.g. Latex or nitrile)
After finishing the painting process, turn the can over and spray the valve empty.
Dispose of the completely empty spray cans as recyclable material
